Dr. Abhijit V. Shevade is a Technologist at JPL. He obtained his Bachelors and Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the University Department of Chemical Technology, University of Bombay, India in 1993 and 1996, respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Kansas State University, USA in 2001. He was a Caltech Postdoctoral Scholar resident at JPL from 2001- 2003. His research interests include: development and application of molecular/multiphysics modeling and simulation tools combined with experimental approaches for design and characterization of materials, including organic/inorganic/biomimetic materials for applications in micro/nano chemical /biological sensors, energy conversion and storage devices for future NASA missions and commercial applications.
